Plane trip down to London

Oh dear ! Jasmine was sick twice on Blackpool Airports lovely carpet before we had even set off. Unfortunately it was too early for a cleaner, so we had to sit next to one of the deposits until we got on the plane.

Saw Richard and Kai from Hard-Fi on tube station.
Cleopatra's Needle

On the way back home I saw that we were going past Embankment tube station. We jumped off and walked five minutes along to see Cleopatra's Needle. There were lots of cardboard tubes from the fireworks at New Year around the river side of it. The London Eye had a layer of cloud sat on the top of it.
Climbing The Monument

Guy stayed at the bottom, but Jasmine, Hugo & Daddy raced to the top of the 400+ step Monument to the Great Fire of London.
Science Museum

Professors Hugo, Jasmine and Guy undertook lots of experiments at the Science Museum.
St James Park / Buckingham Palace

It was cold and feet were getting a bit worn by this point. We walked through the park and onto see Buckingham Palace (Queen was having a bath).

Plane journey was uneventful. We got back late, so everyone was straight off to bed. We were all still tired when we had to get up early to go back to school and work (except for Guy who slept in until 11am !!)
